Spiritual Narrator <he sort of reflects the writer but not quite so. he doesn't really exist or couldn't exist because he contradicts himself so much>: You have to have some kind of plan when you are trying to create a character. You can't just dilly dally and be able to do it. A character has essence. And you'll never have a character that is really unbelievable be completely successful.

I would really like to try making a character that is completely unrealistic. That he makes all these decisions and such throughout the story and then all of a sudden becomes completely shady for no reason and you don't really know why they did that. I know I have done things like that in my life. And so what? You are never really who you want to be and you are never who you really are, your stuck into who you appear to be.

So with Papa, how could I create a character that would be more believeable? Maybe if I could base him off somebody I know. But I don't really know anyone even though I know everyone. It is really hard to get to actually know somebody. And when we know somebody we only know them because they become more predictable. They could be a very unpredictable person but they are probably predicatble in their unpredicatableness. Is that a word?

So let's make Papa a little more predictable. Let's set him up in a place that makes a little more sense with some people around him that can really bring out the colors in him. Bring out the good and the bad. Let's set him up in an old folks home.

And let's deal a little with memory. Because I know I can't remember a damn thing and I am really young.
